Rail
Terolask has a dense and well-developed passenger railway system, with most domestic services provided by the state-owned national carrier Airns-Sterisets Teirolask (AST). Most of the national network uses the 1520 mm broad gauge. This, along with the wider loading gauge, has historically prevented interoperability with the 1435 mm standard gauge systems of neighbouring countries.
Newer dedicated high-speed lines (Veilocitaes-Elathrisfaen, or VEF), use the 1435 mm standard gauge; gauge-switching infrastructure and rolling stock has been developed to allow through-running over both VEF and classic lines. In the south of the country, the Grand-Ulethan High Speed Line (VEF Iyleithesraes Lirinith) connects with the Volta Tunnel beneath the Suiderbelt, thereby linking the Terolan and East Ulethan networks. AST operates vehicle-carrying shuttles through the tunnel.
95% of the rail network was electrified by 2014, the most common system being AC at 25 kV 50 Hz, with overhead wires. The metro systems in cities such as Esdranith, Carennolask, and Sailminster use 7500 V DC third rail, while most 1000 mm gauge commuter lines use 8000 V DC overhead, in locations such as Galeindesraes or Sathrenscath.

Road
Maritime
International ferry services are provided by the Terolan carriers Maedebelt Lines and Teirolasks-Voeltaes Daemfeirspacket / Terolask and Volta Lines (TVD-TVL), as well as Izaki carrier Volta Kaiun, to a variety of destinations in Eastern Uletha.
The service between Tolgendrask and Sannupuri in Izaland is operated jointly by TVD-TVL and Volta Kaiun vessels, on an alternating basis, and is the former's flagship route. Crossings take 22 hours [3], and the route is operated by cruiseferries of 40,000 - 55,000 GT, equipped with overnight cabins and multiple vehicle decks.
Energy
The majority (58.5%) of Terolask's electricity originates from nuclear fission. 29 active nuclear reactors are maintained across 8 sites; seven reactors are currently undergoing decommissioning, while five new reactors are under construction. Funds have been set aside for a further four new fission reactors, all on existing sites. The Department of Energy aims to have implemented a commercially-viable fusion reactor by the year 2050. Wind power contributes the second-largest share to the energy balance, with onshore and offshore windfarms concentrated on the Voltan and Darcodian coasts of the island.
While still an exporter of coal, the last domestic coal-fired power station was shut down on 15th January 2026, more than one year ahead of schedule. The steel industry is now the largest domestic consumer of Terolan coal.
