Meridian, Méridien (in Franquese), Meridiaan (dutch equivalent) is the largest city of Ambrosia and was the former capital until 1788 before Port Ambroise.

Geography

Located in Eastern Ambrosine, on the estuary of the Leon River, it is the largest harbour of the country. This last one is protected from the storms of the ocean by a deep bay. From the start Meridian has always played a strategic role in the history of Ambrosia. As the Leon River makes the border between Ambrosia and Westland on the other bank, Meridian is an important link in the strong relationship with its neighbour.

History

It has always been considared as the Gate of Ambrosia.

Transport

Meridian has the most developed mass transport network of the country with 4 lightrail lines and ... tramway lines. As Ambrosia has a very low percentage of personal vehicules the public transport is highly used by people.
