Forum - Icebreaker of the Month: Coffee or Tea? Why?

Although I drink a lot of coffee in the morning, I prefer tea. Tea pairs well with other foods, you can catch up with friends over tea, and the types of tea you brew can say a lot about you. I personally prefer boba tea and chai tea.

I'm not a drinker of either. They both taste nice but I've gotten used to the fact that if I want a drink I literally need to pour some water and that's that. Time spent vs outcome means the only drinks I consume on a regular basis are water and milk, so I guess it's also a habitual thing. I do like Chinese tea in particular though and I have a cup of that from time to time.

Coffee ... strong and black! First thing in the morning, and any other time up until mid-afternoon, whether at home, at work or in coffee shops and restaurants. I used to drink tea sometimes when I was young, but rarely since then. No cultural reason ... just personal preference.

I drink neither coffee nor tea. The main reason for that might be that my tongue is very sensitive to hot beverages for some reason, but I also don't really like the way tea tastes. About coffee, I used to buy coffees in the morning from our school cafeteria back in my schooldays (because it was a "cool" thing to do), thankfully I got rid of this habit by now. A drink I can really not live without is sparkling water, doesn't matter if it's in the morning or later in the day.

I can't stand the taste of coffee, but I do enjoy a warm sweetened Sleepytime Vanilla, Chamomile, or Black tea But overall I'm more a water guy

I don't drink either in the morning, however I like to have my spearmint tea later in the day. Not everyday though, preparing hot drinks takes up too much of my time :) .

I find that coffee is too strong a' taste for me. Although I prefer tea, I have an uncontrollable habit of drinking just plain milk.

In the morning when I'm usually hurry I prefer tea. Coffee is better while I have much time to give on drinking and delecting the taste so it happens like once or twice a month.
