The talent is divided into 100 sheks, and the currency symbol is ₮ (ISO currency code: ALT). Valuation of 1.985 USD. 500-, 1000-, and 2000- banknotes were also in circulation but were rare. With the advent of electronic bank transfers, debit and credit cards and Wire transfers available for large monetary transfers has made them banknotes less needed. A 3 talent note was also in use until 2001 when it was retired, there are still many of these notes in circulation. Older archaic denominations include a 1/3 Talent coin which is no longer in use but is highly collectible.

10 lira banknotes used only in internal exchange, not available for citizens. Between 1996 and 2021 the Lorantian Lira with different obverse was also minted. These coins and banknotes remain in circulation.

The successor to the colonial Redimidan/Reedemian Dinero, with "Freedin" being a portmanteau of 'Free Reedemian Dinero'. Pegged to the Tarephian Tare (FĐ1 = ※1.10). Average valuation of 0.9317 USD. A 1 Freedin banknote does exist but is being phased out in favor of a 1 Freedin coin as of 2023.

The Dara is divided into 100 senn, and the symbol is Ð. Valuation of 1.154 USD (ISO currency code: GDA). 500-, and 1000- Dara banknotes are no longer printed due to the advent of electronic bank transfers, debit and credit cards and Wire transfers available for large monetary transfers. 3-, 4-, 6-, 15-, 75-, and 150- dara banknotes were also retired as they fell out of use and banknotes were normalized in 1970. There were also some unusual banknotes such as a 22 Dara note that existed from 1900 to 1937 and was used as a form of payments for bond dividends for issues government bonds. These notes were only issued by the treasury to bond holders and were never meant for circulation at large, these bills are very rare and are sought by collectors for their high value especially if they are in pristine condition.

The numa is one of the oldest continuously used currencies in the world, with its first coin minting in the late ninth century. In the 1840s it was completely revalued to its current denominations. Over the last few years, its valuation as averaged 0.291 USD. There has been a push in recent years by the Maureti government to reissue 5Ɲ coins as bills, but this has proven highly unpopular and not gained much traction politically.

The Tarephia Cooperation Council introduced a currency called Tare which is used in some of the member states. It eases the process of money exchange and financial exchanges.

The Vodean pound is one of the few currencies not to be based on the decimal system, but rather the old Ingerish system. Under this system, there are 12 pence in a shilling and 20 shillings, or 240 pence, in a pound.

Notes

  1. 1.0 1.1 The primary currency is the Allendean pitaica, however the tare enjoys a status of secondary currency and acceptance in all banks and certain businesses, especially near the border to countries which mainly use the tare.
  2. Freedemia uses the Freedemian freedin as the primary official currency, but has pegged it to the Tare for easy use and conversion (1 Freedin = 1.10 Tare) and recognizes the two currencies equally. Any bank will change between the two, as do many ATMs.
  3. Nayina accepts the Tare as an official currency, along with the Nayinese Muri. The preference of the Tare will lead to the Muri to be discontinued from minting on Jan 1, 2025, as a decision made by the National House.
  4. While the primary and most used currency of Torola is the Jarov, the Tare is generally accepted for business. The Jarov is also pegged to the Tare (TɈ1 => ※1.50).
