Minnesaugiaw, officially the State of Minnesaugiaw, is a state in the East Lakes Region of the Federal States of Archanta. Minnesaugiaw is bordered by Wisecota to the northwest, Wauseka to the north, and TBA to the northeast, with the state also sharing a border with the Astrasian Confederacy to the south. The name “Minnesaugiaw” is derived from the native Minneiska term “men sakkaw”, which translates to “river valley”. Minnesaugiaw is a mainly hilly and heavily forested state, with populations being concentrated along river valleys or near the coast of Lake Ashani. The capital of Minnesaugiaw is Martinsville, which was named after Martin Briggs, an early settler. The largest city in Minnesaugiaw is Ironton, which as named after the region’s historical iron mining and is situated within the Valterra River valley along the border with Wauseka.
