As in the real world, nations in OGF exchange embassies to facilitate international relations. This page is meant to serve as a country by country guide to building embassies. On the country list below, please add countries in alphabetical order.

Before building embassies

First… wait a bit

Don't start establishing embassies during your first week here, or even your first month. Make sure you're going to stick around for the long term. Take some time to develop the mapping in your country a bit, then reach out to others for embassies. There's no hurry. It's better to be the person who has no embassies for the first six or twelve months, rather than the person who builds embassies in tons of other countries and then disappears, leaving a worldwide mess for everyone else to clean up.

Embassy locations

When you're ready to start building embassies, you'll need to think about where they'll go. Sometimes they are focused in a certain part of the capital, but more often they are spread throughout the city. Sometimes it is a mix of both, with a number of embassies clustered in one part of town, but many others elsewhere.

• When building an embassy in someone else's country, respect their wishes (if any) regarding embassy placement. See the country list below for information on each country.
• When planning for embassies in your own country, it is recommended to avoid putting all of them right next to each other, unless there is some compelling reason to do so. For example most embassies in North Korea are located in a special compound, due to restrictions set by the country's government. But even in this case, a few embassies, such as those of Russia and China, have been built elsewhere.

Embassy sizes

Not all embassies are created equal. Some are very big, for example the US embassy in Berlin:

Others are very small, for example the Eritrean embassy in London:

The size of an embassy depends on several factors:

• The population and wealth of the country represented. Countries with larger populations and more money tend to have larger embassies.
• The population of the host country. Even if the country represented is fairly large, a small embassy will suffice if the host country is small.
• Degree of connection between the two countries. Countries with deeper connections (neighboring/nearby countries, countries with shared history, strong alliances, extensive trade or migration) tend to have larger embassies. They may even have consulates (like mini-embassies) located in other cities outside the capital.
• Size and cost of real estate in the host city. Cities with smaller buildings and higher costs will have smaller embassies. In crowded cities, many embassies are simply an office within some other building.

The size of an embassy is sometimes zero. Countries with small foreign affairs budgets (due to poverty or due to very small size) will typically have very few embassies. See for example see the lists of embassies for Iceland or Fiji.

Artenia	Antarephia∈⊾	Sweetykid		It will be a pleasure to have an Artenian embassy or diplomatic mission in your country (my country is a small one in this OGF world so embassies will be mostly small unless you decide to make it bigger, the choice will be yours). Please contact me about it and I give you all latitude to build an Artenian embassy in your country.		All embassies should be in the capital city, Arténie-Ville. Embassies slots are now available here in Arténie-Ville, 3rd Borough (3ème arrondissement - Ambassades). Embassies can also be constructed in the following boroughs: the 2nd (2ème Arrondissement - Nouveau Centre) or the 4th (4ème Arrondissement - Quartier des Nations). Let me know if you're going to build an embassy for your country; after letting me know via message, you can start mapping your embassy yourself or I can map it myself: we can freely discuss and make an agreement on it.

If you wish, you may also let me know about it afterwards.		You are welcome to map the embassy of your country in Monegha, within the lots reserved for embassies across the city. Azure Coast	Tarephia∈⊾	Crarji		If you wish to establish diplomatic relationship with Azure Coast, you are free to map an embassy in your capital, I only ask you to notify me and send me a message.		Tarjón is still under construction, but it has enough development to build an embassy. Contact me to indicate you the location if you are interested. The names of the tags must be in Spanish/Castellanese as follows "Embajada de (name of your country)". In addition, you can create a park, a square, a library, a house of culture, a binational cooperation office, etc., whatever comes to your imagination and if you need, you can edit the streets.

Embassies are permitted in Huntington; most embassies are located near Tarephia Square. Embassies should be labeled in Ingerish/English. For larger nations or nations with ties to specific regions of the Federal States, consulates are also permitted after an embassy is established in Huntington. However, after moving Freedemia and changing my approach on embassy mapping and placement, I'm largely mapping embassies in Quentinsburgh myself to minimize conflicts. Gobrassanya	West Uletha∈⊾	collaborative		You are free to build a Gobrassian embassy in your capital city. No permission is needed.		You are free to build your country's embassy in Gobras City. No permission is needed. Many embassies are located southeast of the capitol building.
Goytakanya	East Uletha∈⊾	BMSOUZA		Please message me if you think is reallistic to have a group of goytakano refugees in your country, and we can think about a consulate or even simply a culture center.		As Goytakanya is a problematic place, not recognized as independent by all OGF-countries, rarely an embassy will be set in Bhagurah. Diplomatic and humanitarian missions can be set, but we need to talk first, and maybe it will be marked in some shared and simple building.
Guai	Antarephia∈⊾	Aiki		You are free to build a Guaiian embassy in your capital city. Just let me know (message me at Aiki), I will update the corresponding article accordingly.		Guai's capital city Pirindi is under construction but embassies have already been built there, and new ones can be on request (message to Aiki). Most of embassies are located in the fancy area north of the Parliament's hill, close to the hill in big townhouses or 3/4-level buildings, or close to the Seat of the World Food Aid Programme in bigger and more recent compounds.

Iscu	East Uletha∈⊾	Lithium-ion		Iscu should not have any embassies world-wide - it is not officially a country, but rather an AN Territory. If you are mapping a nearby nation, you may choose to map a "defunct Iscuan embassy" - but please err on the side of caution, as it is likely unrealistic to have.		Since Iscu is an AN Territory, only large and/or rich and nearby nations should have diplomatic missions to it. Please contact me first before building your mission .

You are free to build (or you can ask me to map for you) your embassy in two designed areas: Between the square Rosemane / Ekinðuka / Aguri 2-sa / Anagusa-Mukai stations in east Sainðaul Around Gundari-Kōwen and Nawadae stations in west Sainðaul You may also add a cultural centre, little memorial park, coffee shop or restaurant nearby. Also be sure to include the embassy name in Leresso's native script by adding an additional tag for the building:		While the Yerevi capital of Aludres is still undergoing renovation, the core of the city is ready for embassies to be added. Alcântara is (going to be) a big city and very urbanised, so, please message me and I can build one in a good place. Please also keep in mind that not always a large building with green space will be possible.
Mallyore	West Uletha∈⊾	ante44		You are free to build a Mallyorian embassy in your capital city. No permission is needed. Just send me, ante44 a message so I can know.		If you want to build your embassy in Mallyore, send me a message and I, will map it.
Mauretia	West Uletha∈⊾	Alessa		You are welcome to build an embassy for Mauretia in your capital. After that, please send a message notifying of its construction and location.		An embassy of your country is absolutely welcome in Mauretia, and buildings are gradually being built. If you want to have an embassy in Mauretia, please feel free to ask. A plot of land in Iola or another nearby community will happily be granted for you to build on or to have one built for you. Please be sure to state in which city you prefer your embassy to be.

Neberly is committed to have friendly relations with other countries, and will be open for embassies. But it will take some time to get there as the capital Senford isn't ready for it at the moment.

I would be glad if you could send me a message letting me know the embassy was built.		The fact that Neo Delta was recently created and is in the beginning of its formation forces its government to ask other countries to wait until the Neo Delta is further developed to receive your embassies. We appreciate your patience.

Slovech currently has been "refreshed" hehehe. It is not a so big city, but is very well urbanised, so, please message me and I can create a nice embassy to you.

Make sure to notify me! Quitla, the capital, is still under construction, but is ready to receive embassies. Embassies should be located within the "Cẽtro" district as all other government buildings are.
